BENJAMIN BOWMAN AS MICHAEL SCHWEITZER

Benjamin Bowman is an actor and singer from Winston‑Salem, North Carolina, and a 2022 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (BFA in Acting, Musical Theatre minor). He has appeared in films including Ascendant and Never Stay Quiet, and brings a natural warmth and depth to every role he plays.

In Grand Prix du Festival, Benjamin portrays Michael Schweitzer, a young, insightful journalist whose curiosity and compassion uncover the personal truths behind a legendary filmmaker’s life. With this role, Benjamin explores emotional complexity, bridging vulnerability and courage in a story set against the vibrant backdrop of the Cannes Film Festival.

TOM HARRISON is a North Carolina‑based actor with Bold Talent Agency whose work spans film, voice‑over, and theatre. He has appeared in shorts like Respite and PoPo Potato, contributed to commercial projects including a NASCAR Super Bowl spot, and brought depth to stage roles from Shakespeare to contemporary theatre. Known for his versatility, strong character work, and emotional range, in Grand Prix du Festival, Tom brings reclusive and troubled director DAN MACKLEY to life with grounded intensity, thoughtful detail, and raw vulnerability.
