MEET THE TEAM
RYAN THOMPSON
Ryan Thompson is the founder of Scrappy Guy Films and am independent filmmaker with experience as a director, cinematographer, editor, and producer. A former professional actor trained in the Meisner Technique, Ryan draws on his performance background to craft authentic, emotionally resonant stories. His previous acting work work spans short films, feature narratives, music videos, and stage production. This is the start of his journey behind the camera and he approaches his craft with scrappy creativity, artistic integrity, and a lot of coffee!

CHRISSY WAMSLEY
Chrissy Wamsley the Executive Producer and a key member of the Scrappy Guy Films team (aka the Director’s muscle). She works alongside our Founder & Director Ryan ensuring his vision and creativity is met within budget and stays on track. She’s also the Team Cheerleader. When things get hectic and the struggle of independent filmmaking starts to weigh in, her job is to remind everyone that “it IS going to be ok, there WILL be a tomorrow & YOU DO got this.” In her own words, she feels like every day at Scrappy His Films is like a new adventure!
